🎉Happy 5-2-1 Impact Thursday!🎉

Here are 5 high performance insights I've learnt, 2 quotes from others, and 1 conversation starter/ question to think about this week.

💥5 High Performance INSIGHTS💥

“You don't find happiness. You create it.”

You will not find happiness by just positive thinking. It takes positive ACTION. Being happy is a skill that we can train and work on. While your brain is wired to help you survive, you need to be conscious and mindful to live happily.

Happiness doesn't come from wealth, fame or working hard but relationships. So practice gratitude daily!

“I always thought it was me vs. the world until I realize that it was me vs. me”

If we look at social media, it seems like the whole world is having a good time and living their best life. It could feel overwhelming, like… its me vs everybody else.

But everyone has their own share of battles and it resides internally, not externally. Are you actually fighting yourself? If yes, realize it and stop doing that. Declare that from today onwards, you shall not sabotage yourself.

  1. Unhealthy beliefs about ourselves – Self pity (hosting your own pity party)
  2. Unhealthy beliefs about others – giving other people power over you
  3. Unhealthy belief about the world – we think the world owe us something… etc if we put in hard work, we will attain success.

These 3 unhealthy beliefs rob us of living our best life. Know them so that when they come, you can get your shield up and guard your heart.

“Self confidence is the belief that no matter what happens, you will be able to accomplish something”

The easiest way to build self-confidence: Repetition, repetition, repetition. Stop negative self-talk, reinforcing positive behaviour and don't let other people drag you down.

“The four letter word to sell anything: MAYA – Most Advance Yet Acceptable. The concept of familiar surprise.”

To sell something familiar, you have to make it surprising. To sell something surprising you have to make it familiar. People only like new things if they are like old things.

“Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length” – Robert Frost

“The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence”. – Blake Lively

Is it more important to be liked by others or to be yourself and why?

Sometimes the answers seems obvious, but the logic behind it could be shallow.

For big change to happen we need to go deep. In fact, experts suggest 7 layers deep.

So take this chance, try your best to go 7 layers deep. Get asking.
