Happy 5-2-1 Impact Thursday🥂

Here are 5 high performance insights I've learnt, 2 quotes from others, and 1 conversation starter/ question to think about this week.

🔥5 High Performance INSIGHTS🔥

💡1. Change Your Narrative and see change in your life. 💡

Pay attention to how you describe yourself to other people. Are you using phrases like… “I cannot”, “I don't know” and “It's too hard”?

The stories that we tell about ourself often becomes a reality.

Change your narrative to “I will try”, “I will find out”, “I will take this mountain” and see good change happen.

💡2. Keep your eye on the goal💡

Henry Ford once said… “Obstacles are the things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.”

When your eyes is focused on the target, everything else is secondary.

Failure becomes a learning tool. Tiredness is simply collateral damage. You will learn the meaning of digging deep and finding new strength.

So remind yourself daily of your goal and your whys.

💡3. Train your subconscious mind💡

You have an inexhaustible, all powerful, limitless supercomputer in your brain called the subconscious mind.

It makes up 95% of your brain power and handles EVERY bodily function from eating and breathing to making memories

Train yourself to use this resource.

One way is to put up positive, self affirming messages all over your house.

Even if you don't consciously look at it, your subconscious is so powerful it will still process the messages and remind your conscious brain of it.

💡4. Show care through ACTIONS, not THOUGHTS.💡

Have you ever had random thoughts like these in your day… “I wonder how my friend is doing…”.

Or when you are eating something yummy… you suddenly remember… “oh so and so needs to try this…”.

What do you tend to do after that? Many of us are quick to shove these thoughts into our “thoughts graveyard”.

I challenge you that the next time thoughts like this come to you, ACT on them.

Send a text, write a note, tell them you thought of them. Nobody knows if you ONLY THINK about them.

SHOW them you care. Then enjoy the magic that very often follows after.

💡5. Practice loving yourself EVERYDAY.💡

We spend so much time doing things for others and so much effort perfecting our many roles…

Sometimes it is easy to forget to prioritise ourselves.

Loving yourself is a DECISION you need to consciously make.

Consume good things that your body will thank you for. Go do that work-out. Take that break!

Make that effort to love on yourself.

Only when we are filled are we able to fill others.

🔥2 QUOTES FROM OTHERS🔥

“If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and be without flavour.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

🧨2🧨

“You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them.” —Michael Jordan

🔥1 QUESTION FOR YOU🔥

How can you make a meaningful impact in someone's life today?

One of the key ingredients of living your best life is to go beyond self.

It does not take a grand gesture or huge resources to make a meaningful impact in someone's life.

It can be as simple as just being present, or a timely… “How are you REALLY doing?”

So think deep, get asking.

May you make a meaningful connection this week…
