✅ 5 Parenting Tips ✅

💼  I'm working hard FOR my kids 💼

Not saying working hard is wrong, but be very careful to NOT let “working hard” become an excuse to escape from the family. Sometimes, spending time and being present is equally important.

👶  2. I know my kid better than they know themselves 👶

Sometimes, your child knows what is best for themselves. Trying to enforce your choices on them or putting undue pressure/manipulating your kids choice could be harmful for them in the long run.

🔸3. My child's behaviour problems is due to genetics. I cant do anything about it. 🔸

Children mimic and mirror what they see. If they see conflict, they become troubled and rebellious. If they see abuse, they might grow up thinking violence is alright. Remember, you are their biggest role model.

🎓4. I need to fill up my child's calendar with Education.🎓

Some parents fill up their child's calendar with back to back tuitions and enrichment classes. Remember that it's important to give your child plenty of play time and expose them to different activities to help them discover their own assets.

❤️ 5. I love my child therefore I'm a good parent ❤️

Parenting is a journey. And while our intentions are good, we need to recognize that it might not be in the best interest of your child. Keep an open mind, read widely and never stop learning.
